Question about the Civil War by Ken Burns?

Looking to buy a copy of the Civil War by Ken Burns on eBay. I note that consist of some sets of 9 videos / DVDs, some 5 and 3. These are not "parts" of a whole, which are supposed to be "complete" sets. I wonder why some are 9 video / DVD, 5 and others 3. Does anyone know what the sets are different? They are sets of smaller "versions condensed "or completely different? If they are different, they must see and may qualify if they are all worth buying or repetitive?

I have the game in my DVD was bought at retail in the U.S. A few years ago. There are 5 DVDs of nine episodes. If you compare video DVDs, you get only breakfast an episode on videotape, but there are two in most DVDs (the first one). I never Given 3 DVD, but you should check that you have new episodes, if you go for a 3 DVD set. If you're really interested in civil war are priceless. They are not repetitive at all, but very informative and almost addictive! I have seen many times and learn new almost Whenever I see something. They are highly recommended!
